In The Protector, a small lamb appears in half profile, caught in an atmosphere that is both intimate and majestic. The image balances between documentation and dream, where fur and light merge into a painterly surface. Through subtle lighting and careful composition, details such as the texture of the dress, which can almost be felt under the fingers, the lamb's soft hair, and the diffusely softened background of gazebos and trees are emphasised. The result is a scene that invites the viewer to experience tranquillity, intimacy and the quiet majesty of the moment. The photo was taken at Spydeberg Prestegård.
